About Philippine Esperanto Youth, Inc.
The organization, originally founded by three high-schoolers, and the sole Esperanto organization in the whole country (currenty), aims to promote awareness and use of the international auxiliary language Esperanto as a bridging language between people of different ethnolinguistic groups in different countries to enable mutual understanding, cultural exchange, and productive collaboration.
It is non-government, non-profit, non-sectarian, and non-partisan organization. It is registered as a domestic non-stock corporation at the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in the Philippines. Furthermore, it is a full member of the World Esperanto Youth Organization (TEJO).
It is open to all young Filipinos aged 35 years old and below, regardless of their ethnolinguistic group, sexual orientation, religion, political affiliation, socioeconomic status, occupation, etc. As a member, you may avail some perks such as use of the electronic material archives compiled by the organization, participation in its events, regular receipt of important news and announcements in the Esperanto community, and of course, representation in the international Esperanto community.
Through FEJ, you will be a part of a growing community of young people who foster solidarity, effective leadership, and openness to diverse cultures of the world: beyond language barriers, geographic distances, and national borders.
